ENDOSCOPIC ear WAX REMOVAL £80

Endoscopic ear wax removal is when ear wax is removed from the ear with the assistance of an endoscope and either ENT micro-instruments or a fine probe connected to gentle suction (microsuction / E-suction®).

​The specially designed video oto-endoscope (iCLEARscope®) offers high definition, panoramic view of the ear canal and ear drum. 

Endoscopic ear wax removal and microsuction is considered the safest method of wax removal and can also be utilised to remove foreign bodies such as cotton bud tips or hearing aid domes.

We recommend olive oil ear drops as prepare the ear and as a maintenance treatment after wax has been removed.

 Suture and clip removal from £60

​Our nurse is skilled in the removal of sutures and clips post surgery such as 
- post hair transplant
- skin surgery (mole/ lipoma/ cyst removal)
- plastic surgery

Wounds will always be assessed prior to suture/ clip removal as to whether the wound has healed appropriately. Should any complications be identified you will be advised to return to your surgeon. 

​Advice on caring for scars will also be given.

Wound and dressing care from £80

Our qualified and trained nurse can assist with the dressings management of most types of wound whether it is surgical, chronic or due to recent trauma.
  • If necessary we can carry out an initial assessment of the wound, or report on progress or changes.
  • During a change of dressing, the wound will be examined and cleansed as appropriate.
  • Depending on the condition of the wound an appropriate dressing will be applied or recommended in order to optimise recovery time. 

We are not able to suture a wound, if stitches are needed we advise attendance at a Minor Injuries Unit or A&E. 
Should your wound require ancillary medicine, for instance if an infection is present, you will need to see your GP or doctor.
